Diriliş Ertugrul (“Liberation Ertuğrul”) is the Turkish adaptation of The Adventures of Ertugrul, an epic TV series that portrays the life of Ertuğrul and his descendants (the historical founder of the Ottoman Empire, Osman I) as well as the foundation of the Turks and the Ottoman Empire. The series is a co-production between Turkey’s Samanyolu Broadcasting Company and South Korea’s Dong Woo Animation.
